The Valley Stream Soccer Club held its annual awards ceremony for the Spring 2011 season on June 15 at the Village Green. About 500 children, from more than 40 soccer teams, were given trophies. Every kid received an award. President Brian Pellicane said the league had its highest registration numbers in years.
A trio of graduating seniors, Annarose Colucci, Alexa Delatorre and Catherine Powell were awarded scholarships.
