Wantagh blood drive is Thursday

The Wantagh Council of PTAs will hold its annual blood drive on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 3:15 to 9:15 p.m. at Wantagh Elementary School, 1765 Beech St.

The blood drive is being done in partnership with the New York Blood Center and NEFCU. Donors must be 16 to 75 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, eat well and drink plenty of fluids, and have had no tattoos in the past year.

All donors receive a coupon for a free McDonalds sandwich. For more information, call (800) 688-0900.
