Colleen Agostinacchio of Bellmore, the assistant to the athletic director at Molloy College, got engaged to Charles Guarneiri of Baldwin on her birthday, Nov. 29.
Among the many who celebrated their engagement was Father Tim Hirten, a major in the U.S. Air Force, who is currently stationed in Baghdad, Iraq, serving as chaplain and Catholic priest.
Colleen’s fiancee is also in the military and soon after they are married, he will be heading to Iraq as an officer in the
U. S. Army.
Guarneiri is currently in Ranger training at Ft. Hood, in Texas.
