Wellness Council to host Disco Night fundraiser

Posted

The Community Wellness Council of the Bellmores and Merricks will host a Disco Night fundraiser on Friday, March 25, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bellmore, from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.

All funds raised will go to support the council’s fourth annual Midnight Madness Post-Prom Party in June, a drug- and alcohol-free event for seniors graduating from Calhoun, Kennedy and Mepham high schools. Last year’s party, held at Zachary’s in East Meadow, attracted a third of the Central High School District’s graduating class.

A $30 entrance fee includes a buffet, open bar and music throughout the night. There’ll also be 50/50 raffles. Only those 21 years and older will be admitted.

Checks can be made out to the “Community Wellness Council” and sent to the Brookside School, room 29, 1260 Meadowbrook Road, North Merrick, N.Y. 11566. For more information, contact Wellness Council President Emilio Manzo at (516) 532-3738 or Executive Director Fran Licausi at 992-1073.
