Gazebo Readings- Schoolhouse Green 

Celebrate Independence Day on July 11th at 6:30 p.m. with a free BBQ and readings from American history sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Oceanside. Audience members can read the Declaration of Independence and speeches, comedic writings, letters, etc., from famous Americans like JFK, Martin Luther King, Jr. Mark Twain, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, Will Rogers and more. No fee. Bring your lawn chair.

The Madison Theatre at Molloy College Presents ArtsFest Week

Conducted by Aaron Gandy with a special appearance by a Band Called Honalee. 

Summer sounds

Dean Karahalis and the Concert Pops visit Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Theatre, on Saturday, for an evening of delightful tunes. Guest vocalist Deana Verone joins Karahalis and his orchestra for a relaxing program of light classics and lively hits. Step lively to some jazzy tunes

The acclaimed 1920s-era revival band Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks visit Old Westbury Gardens, as part of its Picnic Pops series, on Wednesday, 7 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.) Bring a lawn chair or blanket and some friends, and bandleader Giordano and his ensemble will provide the soundtrack for an enjoyable evening that may even get some folks up on their feet.
