Win free money in Lynbrook

Wouldn’t it be great to print your own money? Well, of course that’s illegal and not something any of us would do, but with the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce’s new campaign, “Lynbrook Chamber Dollars,” you can come real close to getting that extra cash we could all use.

After random drawings, winning entrants will be awarded $25 gift certificates that can be used at any participating Chamber of Commerce member.

“It’s a win-win idea,” said Stephen Wangel, owner of the Kitchen Loft. “It can be used as real money for goods, services ... anything from food to dental work, eyeglasses to hardware ... anything that the merchants have to offer.” Wangel said that the incentive is just one more reason for residents to shop local.
