Members of the community, students, parents and school staff were on hand as the ribbon was cut to open the latest addition to Woodmere Middle School. Special guest Max Seibald, 2005 Hewlett High School graduate who went on to star for the Cornell lacrosse team and is now playing for the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse, kicked the first field goal to officially open the field for play. The new field is the latest project completed at Woodmere Middle School, where significant renovations are underway.
