Kayla Babbush, a sophomore at Kennedy High School in Bellmore, has been working with the Robbie Levine Foundation to bring free CPR/AED training to the Central High School District. The Robbie Levine Foundation was created by Dr. Craig and Jill Levine of Merrick, whose 9-year old son Robbie died suddenly when his heart stopped at a baseball practice in 2005.

The fifth annual Robbie's Run will take place Sunday, April 25, at Levy-Lakeside Elementary School. The event features a 5K run/walk, a one-mile mini-run and a children's fun-run, as well as children's entertainment and fun for the whole family.

The Forever 9-Robbie Levine Foundation is offering a series of free automated external defibrillator/cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes in the coming weeks. Participants in this free series need only attend one of the classes to become certified in AED/CPR.
