In the interest of maximizing residents’ safety and addressing concerns raised by recent minor crimes, the Village of Cedarhurst is working with the Nassau County Police Department’s 4th Precinct South auxiliary police to establish a security patrol to augment the law enforcement already provided by the NCPD and the volunteer unit.

NASSAU COUNTY- Avraham Kardi, 45, of Pebble Lane, Hewlett, was arrested for operating a home improvement business without a permit during a joint operation conducted by the 4th Precinct and the county’s Consumer Affairs Department between April 29 and May 1, police said.
