When Courtney Pincus was a student at Oceanside High School, she always said she would start a performing arts school called To The Stage. On July 25, approximately 90 people gathered on the grassy grounds of St. Anthony’s parish for the parish’s first ever Outdoor Movie Night. Kids, parents, friends and extended families spread themselves around on blankets and lawn chairs, enjoying the slight breeze that made for a bug-free, comfortable evening to watch “Despicable Me 2,” the animated movie starring the voice of Steve Carell and featuring the Pharrell Williams hit song “Happy.” Several of the children attending the event came decked out in T-shirts depicting the “minions” from the movie, and their enthusiasm contributed to the festive atmosphere. more
