Q. I'm hoping you can settle a question that has come up between bidding contractors. Two have told me that you don't order cabinets until the framing is done. This will add a six-week delay to the project. Do people order their cabinets off the architect's drawing or wait for the framing to be done?

John D. Cameron, Jr., P.E., the founder and managing partner of Cameron Engineering & Associates, LLP has been re-appointed by Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano to serve another three-year term on the Long Island Regional Planning Council. His appointment was confirmed by a 19-0 vote of the Legislature. Cameron serves as the council’s chairman, having been unanimously re-elected to his post by its 12 members earlier this year.
