A person was trapped inside a car after a two-vehicle crash on June 23 near the southeast corner of Merrick Road and Lincoln Boulevard. Merrick Fire Department firefighters used the Jaws of Life for the rescue.

Two vehicles collided near the intersection of Merrick Road and Lincoln Boulevard in Merrick at about 10:30 p.m. on June 23. Multiple people were involved in the crash and taken by ambulances to area hospitals. more
