Responding to the increased need for food assistance during the Covid-19 crisis, the Rockville Centre Lions Club will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items at the RVC Recreation Center parking lot on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

As more funds come in for an inclusive playground at the John A. Anderson Recreation Center, Mr. B’s Playground draws closer to a groundbreaking date. However, ground will not be broken until the village receives confirmation of a $500,000 grant from New York State, according to village spokeswoman Julie Scully.
