Rain didn’t keep local pet owners from heading down to St. Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Wantagh on Oct. 4 for the traditional blessing of the animals. The ceremony was moved inside to the church lobby. more

Each day of vacation Bible school at St. Frances de Chantal Church in Wantagh started out with songs and prayers under the big tent. The program ran from Aug. 4-15 at the parish school.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School in Bellmore is celebrating its 20th year anniversary, and to commemorate the milestone, alumni and faculty gathered for a gala at the Coral House in Baldwin. As a regional School, St. Elizabeth takes in students from Bellmore, Merrick, East Meadow and Wantagh, and services parishioners of four parishes — St. Raphael’s in East Meadow, St. Barnabas in Bellmore, Cure of Ars in Merrick and St. Frances de Chantal in Wantagh. more
