Temple B’Nai Torah in Wantagh hosted a pre-Hanukkah celebration on Dec. 14. The event kicked off with a breakfast for adults, in which popular Jewish delights such as latkes were served. Volunteers from the Brotherhood men’s club worked in the kitchen to prepare the feast. more

The 12-year-old made her sporting events debut two years ago while performing the national anthem at a Long Island Ducks game, and since then, she has performed at Madison Square Garden, Citifield, and at SUNY Old Westbury sporting events and Brooklyn Cyclones games. more
