Getting his first Major League win was a “dream come true” for Seaford’s Sean Nolin, who recently earned a call-up with the Oakland Athletics. Nolin, in just his fourth big-league game and his second start of this season, earned the milestone victory in his team’s 5-3 win over the Texas Rangers on Sept. 12. more

Seaford baseball duo are college bound
Two senior members of Seaford High School’s varsity baseball team, who played together since they were 6 years old and have supported each other ever since, will lend their talents to top-tier higher learning institutions next year. Lucas Hall will join the Columbia University Lions, a Division I team, and Jake Doyle will play for the Vassar College Brewers. more
