The Bellmore Little League hosted its annual Memorial Day Weekend Girls Fastpitch Tournament at Newbridge Road Park, and coming out on top in its division was the U12 Blue Fire squad from Bellmore, which defeated the Diamond Dolls from Pelham Bay in the Bronx to take the championship.
