Police officers from Nassau County’s 1st Precinct saved two women, both in their 50s, who were found in a car on Horatio Avenue in Merrick on Sept. 1, unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from heroin overdoses. The officers administered the life-saving drug Narcan, which revives a heroin user suffering from an overdose. more
