The message is simple –– Keep two eyes on the road, two hands on the wheel. Sadly, however, it’s too often ignored by teen drivers, with tragic consequences. Police officers nabbed Matt Delucia, 17, and Kevin Hassan, 16, both of Merrick, while they were burglarizing Calhoun High School on Sunday night, according to the Nassau County Police Department’s 1st Precinct. Delucia and Hassan reportedly ran as the officers approached, but they were stopped and arrested after police corralled them just feet off campus, at Relyea Drive and Charlson Court. more
