The Malverne School District’s administration was repeatedly criticized by several parents and residents in the district during a school board meeting on Aug. 25 for “not making a valid effort to hire more minority teachers and administrators.” The district, which serves Malverne, Lakeview and Lynbrook, is composed of mostly minority students.
