Veterans, scouts, marching bands and Little Leaguers are set to take part in the Bellmores’ annual Memorial Day parade, which is scheduled to kick off on Monday, May 30, at 9 a.m. The parade will begin at the veterans monument at Newbridge Road Elementary School in North Bellmore and proceed south to the veterans monument in Bellmore Village. With a familiar shout –– “Play ball!” –– the Bellmore Little League officially got under way for the spring season last Saturday.
