The program will begin at 9 a.m. at the school. Wreaths will be presented at the veterans’ and firefighters’ monuments. Raffles and prizes will be offered. more

The sun shone down on the Bellmores as residents and veterans joined together for the community’s annual Memorial Day parade on Monday. The day began early with a wreath presentation in front of the Bellmore Veterans Memorial on Bedford Avenue, beside the Long Island Rail Road station.
