Attempted Robbery NORTH WOODMERE-Jonathan Cedillos, 16, of Inwood and Osvaldo Bonilla, 19, of Far Rockaway were arrested on Saturday. Cedillos arranged to meet an 18-year-old victim at North Woodmere Park and exchange a SIM card for a cell phone. The two met on Glenridge Avenue and were approached by Bonilla who demanded the victim’s phone. The victim ran and was pulled to the ground by Cedillos. Bonilla then began punching the victim in the face before the two defendants fled the scene without the cell phone. Both defendants are charged with two counts of Attempted Robbery second degree and were arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead. more
