A North Bellmore man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated this past weekend, according to New York state police. Andrew Marsh, 22, was driving westbound on the Long Island Expressway and merged onto the Seaford-Oyster Bay Express (Route 135) south. While traveling on 135, Marsh lost control of his vehicle and collided with the guardrail on the thoroughfare’s right shoulder. more

The authority comprises five board members who will investigate the feasibility of a public takeover of Aqua New York, the private company that now provides water to residents of Bellmore, Merrick, Wantagh, Seaford, East Massapequa, Levittown, Massapequa Park and parts of Glen Cove. more
