Covert Elementary School Principal Darren Raymar feted second and fourth grade ESL students for their accomplishments this past school year with a June 21 sit-down brunch in his office. Audience members who saw the recent performance of "Mythological Magic" by Wilson Elementary School’s Drama Club say it was an outstanding success. The musical is based on six Greek myths: Origin of the Seasons, Midas, Echo and Narcissus, Arachne and Atalanta’s Running Race. The initial premise for the musical was that three modern day children go into the woods and find a magical door that takes them into the world of ancient Greek mythology. more
