Thomas Macaluso, a senior on the Calhoun High School boys’ golf team, will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., in the fall to study nuclear engineering. Mepham High School had not one but three fall athletes recently sign with Division I colleges, including seniors Kerry Giovanniello, Samantha Picinich and Anthony Santorelli.
