The Calhoun girls’ varsity badminton team recently won the Nassau County Championship with a 4-3 victory over Great Neck South. The Calhoun girls finished the season with a 15-0 record –– and their second straight championship. Team Captain Christina Strezenec won the overall singles title, beating out all other Nassau badminton players in a two-day tournament.
