Baldwin man, 63, found dead near LIRR station, Nassau police say

A 63-year-old man was found unresponsive near the Baldwin Long Island Rail Road station on Monday morning, according to Nassau County police.

Officers responded to the area of Grand Avenue and Sunrise Highway at about 8 a.m. for an aided case and discovered the man lying outside near the train station. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County police medic.

The Homicide Squad is investigating, though police have not indicated that criminality is suspected
