A car crashed into a CVS in Baldwin on Wednesday evening, leaving two people with minor injuries and the building structurally unsafe, according to Nassau County police.
Police responded at 5:25 p.m. to the CVS at 1829 Grand Ave. after receiving a report that a vehicle had struck the building.
Officers found a 2027 Kia that had crashed into an exterior wall of the store. The driver, a 64-year-old woman, and her passenger, a 68-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said.
The Town of Hempstead Building Department responded and deemed the building structurally unsafe. No other injuries were reported.
Police did not identify the driver or passenger.
