Police seize vape, THC products in Baldwin bust

An Elmont man was arrested March 24 around 7:25 p.m. following an investigation into the alleged sale of prohibited vape products at Baldwin Convenience and Snacks on Merrick Road, police said.

Officers observed a large quantity of flavored vape products, kratom, THC products and pepper spray canisters displayed for sale, according to police.

Abdul Tani, 19, was charged with sale of restricted products, sale of flavored products prohibited, unlawfully selling noxious materials and unlawful possession of cannabis.

He was issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Hempstead on April 10.
