Baldwin residents gathered at the Baldwin Public Library on March 2 for a St. Patrick’s Day ribbon wreath craft workshop held in the library’s newly unveiled second-floor community room.

Librarian Elly Muller led the demonstration, showing participants how to create a festive, rustic tied-ribbon wreath using supplies provided by the library.

Tables were filled with ribbons, wreath frames and crafting supplies as friends and families worked side by side to assemble their decorations. Participants tied colorful ribbons onto wreath forms to create festive pieces inspired by the Irish tricolor.

The newly opened second-floor community room provided a bright setting for the workshop, giving participants plenty of space to spread out their ribbons, wreath forms and other crafting supplies.

The event was one of many seasonal craft programs hosted by the Baldwin Public Library throughout the year, offering residents opportunities to learn new skills while celebrating holidays and traditions.

The workshop gave community members a chance to prepare for the upcoming holiday while enjoying a fun and creative evening together. Programs like the wreath workshop allow residents to gather, learn a new craft and celebrate seasonal traditions with neighbors.
