Posted

Baldwin teen Sarah Hartigan is one of the distinguished 11th- and 12th-grade artists who will be exhibiting works with the Usdan Honors Art Intensive, an arts day camp that has been in operation for 44 years.

The collection of works will be exhibited both in New York City and on Long Island. From March 1 through April 4, Hartigan’s piece will be on display in an exhibit called “Self-Defining Mediums” in the gallery at 430 Park Ave. in Manhattan. The exhibit will then move to the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on the LIU C.W. Post Campus in Brookville from April 5 to May 2. Both exhibits will be free.

The Usdan Center (www.usdan.com) is situated on a 200-acre campus in Huntington. Featuring programs in music, dance, theater, visual arts, creative writing, chess and ecology, the center has introduced more than 50,000 children to the arts.
