One suspect in nearby break-in attempt nabbed in Queens

As a woman was stopped for a red light near her Newbridge Road home in Levittown on Jan. 26 at about 1:40 p.m., near the border of East Meadow, she spotted two males exiting her yard, police said.
      
Police said she saw the two subjects entering a black Nissan parked in front of her house, who then fled in an unknown direction.
     
According to 8th Squad detectives, the victim's backyard side gate was opened, and screens on the front and rear windows were up. The victim saw visible fingerprints on the outside of the rear window and sill, police said.
 
Following an investigation, police said Robinson Valdez, 19, of Corona, Queens was arrested and charged with attempted burglary 2nd degree on Feb. 4. He was arraigned on Feb. 5, police said.
