Police arrested a suspect last week who was linked to three September bank robberies in Nassau County, which include incidents in East Meadow and Valley Stream.

Dani Demalija, 44, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Dec. 4 at 11:30 a.m. at the Nassau County Correctional Center in East Meadow, where he was already being held on unrelated charges, police said.

He was charged with three counts of Robbery 3rd Degree, police said.

In all three robberies, the defendant apparently passed a demand note to a teller and walked off with an unspecified amount of money, police said. The incidents occurred at:

     - Chase Bank, South Farmingdale on Sept. 9 at 11:20 a.m.
    - Capital One Bank, 5 Green Acres Road, Valley Stream on Sept. 17 at 10:15 a.m.
    - Citibank, 670 Merrick Avenue, East Meadow on Sept. 26 at 10:33 a.m.

The defendant has been arraigned, police said. According to court records, Demalija is due back in court on Dec. 14.
