East Meadow Crime Watch

Grand Larceny Auto

-  A 1995 Acura Integra was stolen from in front of a Westley Road house, sometime overnight between March 25 at 9 p.m. and March 26 at 6:15 a.m.
-  A 1997 Dodge Neon was left running and stolen on March 27 at about 3:30 a.m. from a Carman Avenue home in Salisbury.
-  A 2008 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen from a residence on Front Street on April 3.

Burglaries
-  A residence on Von Elm Street was burglarized on March 23. The front door was kicked in to gain entry. Assorted jewelry and cash was stolen.
 -  The Delta Gas Station on East Meadow Avenue was broken into on March 26. Cigarettes and lottery tickets were reported stolen.
  -  Jewelry and cash were stolen from a home on Hearth Lane in Salisbury on March 25, sometime between 9:40 a.m. and 10 a.m.
    -  A residence on Fairview Avenue was burglarized on March 16. The rear window was smashed to gain entry. Jewelry was stolen.

Auto break-ins
  -   Audio amplifier equipment was stolen from an automobile parked at 655 Merrick Avenue on March 27, sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
