The Barnum Woods K-Kids, a youth division part of the Kiwanis Club of East Meadow, donated $1000 to the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Unit to help children in the hospital.
The Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center Foundation is a program in the NY District Kiwanis. The foundation supports pediatric trauma efforts at Cohen Children’s Medical Center and Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, as well as programs in the area that protect the safety of children.
Kiwanis leadership reflected that it was the perfect demonstration of “kids helping kids.”
