Thousands of residents gathered at Eisenhower Park on July 2 for Nassau County's annual Celebrate America Fireworks & Drone Show, kicking off Independence Day festivities and commemorating America's 250th anniversary. Families and friends filled Parking Field No. 6 with lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy an evening of patriotic entertainment, including live performances by Glenn Strange, Chicken Head and Let Freedom Rock. The free celebration concluded with a fireworks and drone show that lit up the night sky in honor of the nation's semiquincentennial. The event was presented by Nassau County and TD Bank and drew crowds from across Long Island for an evening of music, community and patriotic pride.
