Police seek East Meadow bank robber

Police said an unknown subject robbed an East Meadow bank on Saturday morning.
The subject entered the Bank of America on 2443 Hempstead Turnpike at 9:40 a.m. and handed the bank teller a demand note, police said. He received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot, police said.
Detectives described the subject as a white male, about six feet, 195 pounds in his mid-forties and unshaven.
According to police, there were six employees and four customers present during the robbery, and no injuries reported.
