Second arrest made in burglary spree
Suspect hit East Meadow, Wantagh, Merrick, Seaford
Seventh Squad detectives announced the arrest of two subjects for multiple Burglaries in Nassau County, including East Meadow.
According to detectives, defendant Oladipupo Omole, 19, of Union, N.J. turned himself in to the Seventh Precinct in Seaford on Wednesday, May 12. Oladipupo and a second defendant Michael Delaney, 18, of 9 Hawthorne Street, Farmingdale, who was arrested on May 4, were involved in burglaries in the Wantagh, Merrick, and East Meadow areas, police said.
According to police, Michael Delaney was charged with five counts of Burglary 2nd degree and arraigned on May 5 in First District Court, Hempstead.
Oladipupo Delaney is charged with three counts of Burglary 2nd degree, police said, and was arraigned on May 13 in First District Court, Hempstead.
