Suspect nabbed in East Meadow, Salisbury bank robberies

A suspect, already accused of one November bank robbery in East Meadow, was arrested again this week for allegedly committing two others in the area.
 
According to Nassau County police, Barry Costa of Uniondale robbed the Roslyn Savings Bank on Front Street in East Meadow on Nov. 4 and the Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Old Country Road in Salisbury on Nov. 15. Police said Costa, 54, was arrested on Nov. 18 for robbing the Capital One Bank on Merrick Avenue in East Meadow on Nov. 12.
 
Costa, 54, was charged with two counts of Robbery 3rd Degree and was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday, police said.
