Trick-or-treating around East Meadow Stew Leonard’s

Posted

Children ages 8 and younger got to celebrate Halloween a little early this year at Stew Leonard’s in East Meadow. The grocery store chain, with Long Island locations in East Meadow and Farmingdale, held a fun trick-or-treating experience in the store on Oct. 24.

Dressed in costume, those registered for the event on Tuesday afternoon were provided with goodie bags to collect treats as they visited several stations throughout the store, manned by Stew Leonard’s employees.

“Wow the Cow,” Stew Leonard’s famous mascot, was around, takings photos with and meeting kids of all ages.

Whether the children were getting ahead on their candy collecting, or saying “cheese” with Wow, it was a great time had by all.

Stew Leonard’s holds regular events throughout the holiday season — and all year long. For more information, and to stay up to date on programs coming to East Meadow, visit StewLeonards.com/locations/east-meadow.
