William Neill reelected to East Meadow Board of Fire Commissioners

William Neill cast his vote in the election for the East Meadow Board of Fire Commissioners. In an uncontested race, Neill was reelected to a fourth term with 181 votes.

One vote would have been enough for William Neill.

Neill cruised to victory on Tuesday in the uncontested election for the East Meadow Board of Fire Commissioners. He received all of the 181 votes that were cast on Tuesday. There were no write-in votes. Polls were open to voters from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at EMFD headquarters and Station No. 3.

Neill won his fourth five-year term as commissioner on the five-member board.

“I feel good, I’m looking forward to working with the guys I’ve been working with the last 15 years,” Neill said. “We work well together and that’s one of the main reasons I ran.”
