Two Lynbrook students attending Nassau BOCES Barry Tech were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, a national organization that recognizes excellence in career and technical education.
The Lynbrook honorees were Cooper Cannon, a student in the Sports Medicine and Personal Training program, and Jack Dugan, a student in the Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement program.
More than 140 Barry Tech students from 34 Long Island school districts were inducted this spring. Students earn membership through strong academic achievement, community service and teacher recommendations.
The National Technical Honor Society recognizes students who demonstrate leadership, responsibility, character and dedication to their chosen fields while preparing for future college and career opportunities.
