Eighth graders at Lynbrook North and South middle schools celebrated their move to high school during separate ceremonies on June 24.

At South Middle School, Principal Kaitlin GaNun congratulated the Class of 2030, praising students for their kindness, resilience and growth throughout middle school. Valedictorian Sienna Mainhart and salutatorian Nicole Stimac reflected on overcoming challenges and encouraged their classmates as they prepare for high school.

At North Middle School, Principal Marianne Healy urged graduates to embrace new opportunities and not be afraid of failure, reminding them that setbacks often lead to success. Student speaker Rebecca Wolk encouraged her classmates to appreciate the friendships and memories they made during their time at North.

Graduates from both schools received their diplomas, officially becoming members of Lynbrook High School’s Class of 2030.
