Lynbrook students recognized as Nassau BOCES Students of Quarter

Two Lynbrook students were recently recognized as Nassau BOCES Students of the Quarter for the third quarter of the school year.

Lawrence Becker, a student in Barry Tech’s Construction Electricity program, and Maximo Sisson, a student in Barry Tech’s Computer Technology program, earned the honor for their grades, attendance, work ethic and classroom preparedness.

According to Nassau BOCES, more than 125 students from districts across Nassau County were recognized this spring through the Barry Tech and GC Tech career and technical education programs. Students selected for the honor were also recognized for taking initiative on class projects and serving as role models for their peers both in the classroom and workplace.
