It takes a village, or at least a nanny
When we walked into the park, my grandson made the introductions. Only 2 years old, he’s on a first-name basis with all the VIPs on the scene. The VIPs are the nannies, of course, and he got big hugs from each of them, since they all freelance as baby-sitters, and most have fed him, bathed him and rocked him to sleep at one time or another. more

A new PPL is best for the community
The Peninsula Public Library’s potential move is an important issue for all residents of District 15, not just Lawrence. The move must happen, and would clearly be a positive development in the community. more
The parking lot at Lawrence Middle School currently does not have the capacity to accommodate the addition of fifth-grade teachers. Village of Lawrence trustees voted to allow staff from Lawrence Middle School to park at the train station, which is less than a half mile from the school.
