Junior Gabrielle Guagenti was the Homecoming Princess, and football player Thomas Agurkis was the prince, but couldn’t be in the parade because of pre-game activities.
Homecoming Hewlett-Woodmere-style included a sunny day for the parade that began at Hewlett Elementary School on Broadway and proceeded south to the Hewlett High School campus.
Then the Bulldogs football took the field and defeated Division 27-7 in a Conference III game. Hewlett boosted its record to 3-4. On Friday, they host Floral Park at 6 p.m.
