Apply for student scholarship, Educator of Note for the Long Island Music Hall of Fame

The Long Island Music Hall of Fame is now accepting applications for its 2022 Student Scholarship and Educator of Note programs.

Four $500 scholarships will be given to graduating high school students from Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Kings (Brooklyn) counties, who have shown an interest in pursuing a career in music. The deadline for applications is May 13.

The Educator of Note recognizes music teachers and professors in public or private schools and colleges and studios that have demonstrate a commitment to music education. The winner is awarded a grant to be used in the school or district where teach or taught. The application deadline is Sept. 30.

Founded in 2004, the Long Island Music Hall of Fame is a nonprofit committed to celebrating and preserving Long Island’s musical heritage not only with Nassau and Suffolk, but Brooklyn and Queens as well.
