Unidentified male body found off Atlantic Beach waters by Far Rockaway

An unidentified man was pulled from water by Beach 25th St. in Far Rockaway on July 28.

According to police, an unidentified man's body was pulled from the water in Atlantic Beach, on July 28.

Nassau police responded to a call from a beachgoer around 4 p.m. near Crest Road and Beach 25th Street, in Far Rockaway.

They said the man recovered from the water was "unconscious and unresponsive" and was prnounced dead at the scene.

According to police, an immediete cause of death has not been determined yet.
