Cedarhurst store door damaged

A man dressed in black clothing and wearing gloves and a mask threw a brick through the front glass door of the AT&T store at 316 Rockaway Turnpike in Cedarhurst at 3:15 a.m. on Aug. 15, police said.

He entered the store for a brief time, but left without taking anything, according to police. He was last seen walking north on Rockaway Turnpike.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 244-8477. All calls remain confidential.

On Aug. 12, two men wearing dark colored clothes tossed a chunk of concrete through the front glass door of the Radio Shack at 525 Central Ave. in Cedarhurst. Both men also entered that store for a short amount of time and took nothing.
